Daily Record, Morris County, N.J., Tuesday, February 28, 2006 MORRIS COUNTY OBITUARIES Joan Crane Freeman 73, passionate about travel WASHINGTON TWP. Joan Crane Freeman died on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 in Atlantic Hospice Inpatient Unit, Morristown. She was 73. Mrs.

Freeman was born in Mount Kisko, N.Y. on December 10, 1932 and moved to South Plainfield prior to living in the Long Valley section of Washington Township in Morris County for 45 years. She was a 1954 graduate of Wheelock College in Boston. She was a fourth grade teacher at the Old Farmers Road School, Washington Township Board of Education, in 1970, retiring in 1995. Mrs.

Freeman was a member of the Long Valley Presbyterian Church. She was an officer in the Washington Township Historical Society, during which she offered her home as part of many historical tours of Historic Homes of Long Valley. She was a member of the Long Valley Women's Club and an elite member of the Kindergarten 5. She shared her passion for travel and education with her two life partners, three children, four grandchildren, many dear friends and hundreds of students. Her husband, Frank G.

Freeman, died in 1993 and her parents, Dr. Norman T. and Marian (Bradley) Crane, both died previously. Survivors include her husband and domestic partner of 49 years, Paul R. Donovan; her sons, Peter C.

Freeman of Randolph, and Scott C. Freeman of Hampton; her daughter, Janet L. Freeman of Mountain City, her sister, Shirley A. Reynolds of Hamilton, N.Y.; and her four grandchildren, Justen, Katlyn, Lindsay, and Keith. Services will be on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at 4 p.m.

Dennis died on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 at his home. He was 82. He was born in Newark and grew up in Irvington. He lived in East Orange for seven years before moving to Parsippany 51 years ago.

He graduated from St. Benedict's Prep School and then Seton Hall University with his bachelor's degree in chemistry. He worked for Norda Flavors and Fragrances in New York City and East Hanover for 42 years, before retiring as the VP of Purchasing in 1982. He served in the Navy during World War II, from April 14, 1943 until being honorably discharged on April 19, 1946. It was during this time that he met his wife, the former Mary Kelshaw who is also a World War II Veteran at the Wildwood Naval Air Station.

He was a member of St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany. He was very active in the church, and community. Although he was a very successful businessman, he was most proud of his children and grandchildren; he was everyone's "Pop-Pop." His devoted parents, Harold C. and Mary (Smith), both died previously.

His dear brother, Joseph, also died previously; and his cherished grandson, Army Spec. Craig Steven Ivory, died while serving his country on August 17, 2003 in Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Mary; his loving children, Christopher and his wife, Elizabeth of Lake Hiawatha, Mary Kay Ivory of Hamilton Square, Elizabeth Dennis and her husband, James Stratton of Quincy, Kathleen Dennis-Torrey and her husband, Douglas of Boonton, Barbara Dennis of Bridgewater, and Bernadette Dennis of Lake Hiawatha; his dear brothers, Harold of Connecticut, and Thomas of Livingston; and his seven cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Sarah, Katie, Lauren, Brian, Adam and Zachary. Elizabeth Adams 66, Entenmann's employee MORRIS PLAINS Elizabeth Adams died on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at Hospice House for St. Luke's in Bethlehem, Pa. after a long illness. She was 66.

Mrs. Adams was born in Jersey City and was a resident of Morris Plains. She was employed for Entenmanns' Bakery in Totowa for 14 years in the Accounts Receivable department, retiring in April of 2005. Survivors include her two daughters, Nadine Bernabe of Pen Argyl, and Linda Wilson of Bangor, her four granddaughters, Marissa, Sabrina, Briannah, and Jessica; and her brother, Robert Adams of Rockaway. 25, 2006 at St. Anne Villa, Convent Station. She was 90. Sister Honora was born in Jersey City and entered the Sisters of Charity, Convent Station on Sept. 22, 1938.

She was a member for 67 years. Sister Honora received her bachelor's degree from the College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station. She taught at St. Stephen's in Kearny from 1939 to 1955.

She also taught at St. Mary's in Elizabeth from 1955 to 1962; St. Cecilia's in Kearny from 1962 to 1976; and returned to St. Stephen's from 1976 to 2000. Sister Honora retired to Mount St.

Andrew Villa, Paramus, in 2000 and moved to St. Anne Villa in 2004. Survivors include her brother, Cornelius; and her nieces and nephews. The wake for Sister Honora will be held today, Feb. 28, 2006, from 2 to 5:30 p.m.

in St. Anne Villa, Convent Station. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 6 p.m. Burial will be on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Cemetery, Convent Station.

26, 2006 at Andover Care Nursing Center in Andover Township. She was 90. She was born February 24, 1916 in Franklin, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Sebastian. Mrs. Marion lived in Butler for 70 years and was previously from Franklin.

She was a member of the Butler Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Gerald; her son, David Marion of Andover; her daughter, Ann Marie Haritos of North Carolina; her brothers, David Sebastian of Wharton, Charles Sebastian of Ledgewood, and Paul Sebastian of Lafayette; her sister, Julia Cox of Newton; her six grandchildren; and her three great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 11 a.m. at Butler United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Steve Bechtold of Butler Methodist Church officiating.

William Stolbach 82, business owner MORRIS TWP. William Stolbach died on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was 82. He lived in Randolph for 15 years, before moving to Convent Station in 1996.

Mr. Stolbach owned and operated the Bel Air Luncheonette in Morristown for many years. He served in the Army during World War II. His wife, Dorothy Stolbach, died in 2005. Survivors include his beloved children, Scott and his wife, Diane Stolbach of Warren, and Sharon Stolbach of Rockaway; and his grandson, Gregory Stolbach.

Funeral services will he held on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Burroughs, Kohr, and Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. She was 58 years old. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Thomas and Virginia Schultz and resided in the Landing section of Roxbury prior to moving to Hopatcong 32 years ago. She was a graduate of Morris Catholic High School Class of 1964. Mrs.

Kimmerer worked as a photographer, a writer, and was a self-proclaimed "plant lady" due to her love of flowers and plants and various occupations in that field. She also worked as an antiquarian and also as a barista at the Grist Mill in Andover. Mrs. Kimmerer was a devoted wife and mother, as well as an activist for all she believed in. She was an enthusiast and a pursuer of life.

Mrs. Kimmerer was a member of the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club. Survivors include her husband, George; her daughter, Lara; and her son, Graham, all of Hopatcong. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, March 2 beginning at 10 a.m. at LeberLakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, (973) 398- 3000.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Madison Veterinary Hospital, 262 Main Street, Madison, N.J. 07940. Silvio Clemente 91, barber DENVILLE Silvio Clemente died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006 at the Regency Grande Nursing Center in Dover. He was 91.

He was born in Carpinone, Italy and came to this country in 1930, settling in Malden, Mass. He married Irma Vendetti in 1938 and moved to New York City, and later to Denville in 1957. In 1971 he and his wife moved to Florida until returning to Denville in 2000. Silvio was a barber and owned and operated Silvio's Barber Shop in Denville, and later in Florida. He retired in 1979.

He was a member of the English Dover Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Rockaway Township, where he had served as a Ministerial Servant. His great granddaughter and friend, Jessica, died previously. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Irma; his three children, Dolores Mack, Silvio Clemente, and Richard Clemente, all of Denville; his five grandchildren; his three greatgrandchildren; and his two sisters, Connie Marra, and Ann Walker, both of Malden, Mass. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, at 2 p.m. at the English Dover Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Rockaway Township.

40, loving family member LAS VEGAS William A. Washburn Jr. died in his sleep on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006. He was 40.

He was a longtime Parsippany resident and graduated from Parsippany High School and Morris County College. He moved to Las Vegas and was a loan officer for the past 5 years. Survivors include his parents, Bill and Mary Lou Washburn; and his sisters, Beth of Saint Augustine, Anne Olah and her husband, Jeff and their two children of Broadheadsville, and Terry Portenstein and her husband, Tom and their two children of Westfield, Mass. She was 81. She was born in Scranton, Pa. on Sept.

4, 1924 to Elizabeth Mullen Burke and Robert Jerome Burke. Loise and her family moved to New York City, Washington, D.C. Greenbelt, and finally, College Park, Md. Greenbelt was a planned community initiated during FDR's administration. She graduated from Greenbelt High School in 1942 and entered the University of Maryland on full scholarship that same year.

She graduated in 1946 with an undergraduate degree in home management and institutions. During the summer after her graduation, she was a dietician intern from the University of Maryland at Solomons Island Biological Station, Maryland. In the fall of 1946, she accepted a position with Chesapeake and Potomac Phone company in Washington, D.C. as a manager of cafeterias. She began her graduate studies in Home Management at Ohio State University in the summer of 1947.

She returned to Maryland in the fall of 1947 after accepting a position with Howard Johnson's to manage its cafeterias at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. There she met her future husband, Edward J. Cousey. She continued her graduate coursework and taught undergraduate courses at the University of Maryland. She married Edward J.

Cousey at St. Anthony's Church in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 11, 1950. They moved to Baltimore, where she was hired by the WBAL television station to portray "Connie Cooke," a future pioneer of cooking instruction on television.

Mrs. Cousey moved from Baltimore to Massachusetts with her husband, before moving to New Jersey in 1956. She had been a resident of Randolph for the last 50 years. Mrs. Cousey taught Home Economics for 25 years at Roxbury High School, starting in 1968, and helped initiate their childcare lab.

She taught parent education classes, as well as foods, clothing and consumer education classes. She had also taught microwave cooking classes at JC Penny for many years. After retiring in 1992, she became active in numerous groups and associations. She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association, and the New Jersey Retired Educators Association; she was a member and volunteer of the Volunteer Management Committee Special Olympics, New Jersey; she was past president and treasurer of the St. Mary's Happy Hours Club, Wharton; she was a member of the North Jersey Wood Carvers; and she was a member of the Randolph Township Bicentennial Committee, and manned the Randolph Township election polls during numerous elections.

She was past president of the Randolph Senior Citizen Club at the time of her death. Mrs. Cousey had many interests including extensive traveling, stamp and postcard collecting, woodcarving, reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, politics and history. She enjoyed Cape Cod and collecting shells on the beach. She recently organized a one-day commemorative stamp cancellation to celebrate Randolph Township's bicentennial.

Her husband, Edward J. Cousey died in 1992; her brother, Richard F. Burke; and her parents, Elizabeth Mullen Burke and Robert J. Burke, all died previously. Survivors include her children, Barbara, David, and Diane, all of Randolph, Paul and his wife, Deborah of Stillwater, MaryBeth and her husband, William Bonkoski of Morristown, Kathleen, also of Morristown, and William and his wife, Stacy of Kansas; her brother, Robert J.

Burke of Maryland; her sister-in-law, Li Burke Yen of Missouri; her cherished grandchildren, Katherine Bonkoski, Benen Cousey, Evelynn Cousey and Olivia Cousey; and her dear nieces, nephews, students, and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at St. Mary's Church in Wharton. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2, 2006, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Mary on 24, Gale Baglio 55, devoted to family, friends HACKETTSTOWN Gale Baglio died on Friday, Feb. 24,. 2006 in Livingston. She was 55.. She lived in Hackettstown and was born in Morristown on April 4, 1950.

She was a clerk at Weis Market in Mansfield and had previously worked for 12 years as a teacher's aide for the Hackettstown School District. Gale enjoyed spending time in Atlantic City. She was devot-. ed to her family and friends. She touched everyone in her life and they loved her equally.

Her parents, Peter and Lucia (Costanzo) LaCanfora, both died previously. Survivors include her husband, Peter Baglio; her children, Michael and his wife, Stacy Baglio, Peter Baglio HI, and Nancy Baglio, all of Hackettstown; her brother, Peter LaCanfora of New Vernon; her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Kathleen Baglio; her sisterin-law, Patricia Baglio; her nephew, Kristofer Baglio; and her niece, Rebecca Baglio. Forsythe 75, business owner PARSIPPANY- Raymond L. Forsythe died on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at the Atlantic. Inpatient Unit in Morristown. He was 75.

He was born in Mendham and grew up in Madison, before moving to Parsippany 40 years ago. He owned and operated Sabina Trucking in Lake Parsippany for 20 years, before retiring in 1990. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, from September 3, 1950 until being honorably discharged on August 16, 1952. He received the Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Stars and the United Nations Service Medal. He was a member of VFW Post 9238 in Rockaway Township and the 112th Field Artillery in Morristown.

His dear brother and sisters, Jack Forsythe, Margaret Kerber, Eva Forsythe, and Forsythe; and his dear uncle, Willis K. Earl, all died previously. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sabina his loving children, Mariano J. Guadara and his wife, Catherine M. of Mountain Lakes, and Antoinette Guadara and her Fiance, Mark J.

Roedema died suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg. He was 62. He was born on Dec. 23, 1943 in Clifton, and resided in Rutherford, East Brunswick, Randolph for 10 years, and finally in Panther Valley, Allamuchy for the past 15 years.

He was currently the manager of Big Lots in Phillipsburg. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Nabisco in East Hanover for 22 years. His parents, Charles Roedema and Julia (Staudt), both died previously. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Mac Hugh Roedema, at home; his children, Ronald C. also home, Catherine Bielski and her husband, Joseph of Hackettstown; his brother, Charles Edward Roedema of Miami, and his one granddaughter, Emily Ann Bielski.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 6 p.m. from the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown. (908) 852-2420. Interment will be private. Visiting.
